The handle locks are divided into split locks, combined locks, and three-pole quick-install locks; the indoor door locks are divided into three styles: European, Chinese, and modern and simple; the product materials are more, including zinc alloy, stainless steel, copper, and aluminum alloy.

Handle locks can be divided into space aluminum, stainless steel, copper die-casting, and zinc alloy according to the material. Space aluminum and stainless steel are advanced materials. After surface processing, they are bright and soft to the touch. Although corroded by sweat and moisture, they are not easy to fade and rust. Die-cast copper handle locks are relatively thick and moderately priced, while some low-quality zinc alloy handle locks are easy to break when used. Since the surface of zinc alloy handle locks is copper-plated, it is difficult to distinguish them from copper die-cast handle locks when purchasing. You can use a file to repeatedly file the bottom plates of the two handle locks. The brass-colored ones are copper die-cast handle locks, and the silver-white ones are zinc alloy handle locks.

Handle lock installation steps
1. Determine the thickness of the door
Before installation, you must read the hole drawing and the precautions for drilling the lock body hole in detail. Before drilling, determine whether the door thickness is between 40 mm and 55 mm, whether the door frame is greater than 110 mm, and the center distance from the door frame to the handle should be about 70 mm.
2. Drill the lock body installation hole
The handle door lock hole must be drilled in strict accordance with the required installation dimensions. The hole size and positioning must be in accordance with the hole drawing standard. If the installation is completed, the handle door lock cannot work properly. Be very careful when drilling the hole. Do not drill too large or use too much force to cause the door to crack. If the hole is too large, the lock body will not be able to cover the hole position, which seriously affects the overall appearance of the handle door lock. Pay special attention to the center position of the side hole:
(1) When the door thickness is 45 mm, the center of the hole is aligned with the center of the door.
(2) When the door thickness is >45 mm, the distance between the center of the hole and the outside of the door is 22.5 mm. When the hole is 45 mm, the distance between the center of the hole and the outside of the door is 22.5 mm.
3. Install the handle lock body
After the lock body hole is opened, be sure to clean the wood chips inside the lock hole before inserting the lock core into the lock core hole, and then test whether the hole size and tightness are normal. If the hole is not opened properly, it will directly and seriously affect the use and performance of the entire lock. So you must pay attention.
