Preparation before installation

Use an electric drill and a suitable hole opener to drill holes for the lock body and lock tongue on the door according to the markings. For wooden doors, pay attention to controlling the depth of the drilling to avoid drilling through the door; for metal doors, you may need to use a special metal hole opening tool to ensure the accuracy and quality of the hole.
Use a screwdriver or wrench to fix the lock body in the opened hole, tighten the screws, and ensure that the lock body is firmly installed without looseness.
4. Install the lock tongue and lock buckle:
Install the lock buckle at the position corresponding to the lock tongue on the door frame to ensure that the lock tongue can be accurately inserted into the lock buckle. Pay attention to the direction and position of the lock buckle during installation so that it matches the lock tongue of the lock body accurately.
Use screws to fix the lock buckle on the door frame and tighten the screws to ensure its stability.
5. Install the password lock cylinder and dial: Insert the password lock cylinder into the corresponding position of the lock body, and then install the dial or combination dial. According to the instructions of the password lock, correctly install and adjust the dial to ensure that the password setting and operation can proceed normally.
6. Debugging: After the installation is completed, perform comprehensive debugging. Check whether the lock tongue can be extended and retracted smoothly, and whether the password setting and unlocking functions are normal. You can try to enter different passwords for unlocking and locking operations multiple times to ensure that the performance of the password lock is stable and reliable.
7. Cleaning: After installation, clean up wood chips, metal chips and other debris on the door to keep the door and the surrounding environment clean.
