The simplest combination lock, commonly found in low-security bicycle locks, uses multiple dials. Pull the lock shaft outward, and then turn the tightened dial. A small "click" sound indicates that the tooth has entered the correct recess. Repeat this step and the lock can be opened quickly. Single turntable type: Some combination padlocks can tighten the lock head, and then turn the turntable until it can no longer move, so that the combination can be found. Combination box combination lock: Turn the gaps under the three combination gears to the same direction, and turn the combination wheel in turn, up to 9 times, and it can be opened.
1.Multi-dial
The simplest combination lock, often found on low-security bicycle locks, uses multiple dials. Each dial has a recess in the middle. A shaft in the center of the lock has several protruding teeth that hold the dial. When the dial is turned to the correct combination, the lock opens. This is the easiest lock to open. Many of these locks can be opened without knowing the combination. Unless the internal components are perfectly made, if you pull the shaft outward, one of the teeth will pull the dial more tightly than the others. Now turn the tightened dial until you hear a small "click" sound, indicating that the tooth has entered the correct recess. Repeat this step and the lock will be opened quickly.
2. Single turntable type
The combination lock used on padlocks or box locks may have only one turntable. The turntable pushes several balance discs or cams on the back. Traditionally, when opening this type of lock, turn the turntable clockwise to the first number, then counterclockwise to the second number, and so on until the last number. There are usually recessed positions on the cam. When the correct combination is entered, the positions are in a straight line and the lock can be opened. This combination lock is safer, but it is not without disadvantages. For example, some combination padlocks can tighten the lock head and then turn the turntable until it can no longer move, so that the combination can be found. There are also some turntable combination locks with a specific relationship between the numbers, which greatly reduces the possibility of the combination of the combination. Cheap combination padlocks can be opened with special linings without using the combination. The combination lock used on the box lock is more tightly structured. An experienced locksmith can use a stethoscope to carefully listen to the sound of the cam in the lock while rotating the turntable to determine the possible combination.
3.Password box combination lock
Put your password box in a brightly lit place, or shine a flashlight on it, turn the numbers and observe carefully. One of the numbers in each group will show a gap, so leave it at that position, and then find the other two groups, and turn the gaps under the three password gears to the same direction. Then hold the switch with your hand and turn the password wheels one by one.
