Types of hinges

1. Straight curved hinge

The door panel covers the entire 18mm thick side panel of the cabinet (i.e. the door panel covers the side panel by 17mm), and the hinge used is a straight curved hinge.

(1) The default distance between hinge holes is 110mm;

(2) The inner depth of the side panel with hinges should be greater than 70mm;

(3) The maximum coverage of the straight curved hinge can only cover the side panel by 17mm, so the maximum coverage of the 25mm and 35mm thick side panel door panels can only cover 17mm.
2. Mid bend hinge

The door panel covers half of the 18mm thick side panel of the cabinet (i.e. the door panel covers the side panel by 8mm), and the hinge used is a mid bend hinge.

(1) The default distance between the hinge hole and the edge is 110mm;

(2) The inner depth of the side panel with hinges should be greater than 70mm;

(3) The maximum length of the bent hinge can only cover the side panel by 8mm.
3. Large curved hinge

The door panel does not cover the side panel of the cabinet at all (i.e. the door panel covers the side panel by 0mm), and the hinge used is a large curved hinge.

(1) The default distance between the hinge hole and the edge is 110mm;

(2) The inner depth of the side panel with hinges should be greater than 70mm;

(3) The large curved hinge has an embedded effect relative to the side panel and is suitable for various thicknesses of side panels.

4. 165 ° straight bending hinge

The process of a 165 ° straight bend hinge is the same as that of a regular straight bend hinge, except that the angle at which the door panel opens is different. The angle at which a regular straight bend hinge door panel opens is 90 °, while the angle at which a 165 ° straight bend hinge door panel opens is 165 °.

(1) The default distance between the hinge hole and the edge is 110mm;

(2) The inner depth of the side panel with hinges should be greater than 70mm;

(3) The 165 ° straight curved hinge can only cover the side panel by a maximum of 17mm, so the 25mm and 35mm thick side panel door seats can only cover a maximum of 17mm when fully covered;

(4) Commonly used for corner cabinet door panels.

5. 165 ° large bend hinge

The process of a 165 ° large bend hinge is the same as that of a regular large bend hinge, except that the angle at which the door panel opens is different. The angle at which a regular large bend hinge door panel opens is 90 °, while the angle at which a 165 ° large bend hinge door panel opens is 165 °.

(1) The default distance between the hinge hole and the edge is 110mm;

(2) The inner depth of the side panel with hinges should be greater than 70mm;

(3) The 165 ° large bend hinge is embedded relative to the side panel and is suitable for side panels of various thicknesses;

(4) The 165 ° hinge also has a half cover, and the installation technician does not install the cushion block of the 165 ° large bend hinge, which is the 165 ° medium bend hinge;

(5) Commonly used for corner cabinet door panels.

6. 60 ° hinge

The 60 ° hinge is only used for connecting the middle position of the interlocking door panel of the corner cabinet.

The hinge holes of the linked door are located on the same door panel, while the door panel on the side where the handle is installed does not have hinge holes.

7. American hinge

The installation method of American hinges is quite special. The base part of the hinge is fixed on a fixed sealing plate that is on the same plane as the door panel. It is commonly used as a corner cabinet in straight cabinets, and a part of the cabinet body is used as a fixed sealing plate.

(1) The default distance between the hinge hole and the edge is 110mm;

(2) The inner width of the side panel with hinges should be greater than 72mm.

8. Flat hinge

Flat hinges are specifically designed for flip down doors and should be used in conjunction with flip down supports.

(1) The default distance between the hinge hole and the edge is 110mm;

(2) Maximum door panel height H ≤ 450, maximum door panel width W ≤ 1200;

(3) Can only be used as a full cover door for all 18/22 thick door panels, but this hinge cannot be used for aluminum frame doors;

(4) When the flip door is closed, the size of the cover bottom plate is 16mm-19mm;

(5) When flipping the door, the trajectory will exceed the size when it is closed. It is best not to have any other panels under the door. If you insist on doing it, a gap of 10mm should be left between the two.
